For Prospective Owners
I have the kind permission of the author of both articles, Craig Bloom, to reproduce them on this site. I hope you will read both of them as they will give you a great insight into the Boerboel breed. Just like humans, different dogs have different natures and different looks. For some people and their circumstances one could be better than the other this is why it is so important to find a breeder who shall listen to your needs and evaluate the puppies/dogs and tell you truth, warts and all. As breeders we can admit that perhaps we don't always get it 100% right in possible looks or temperament at maturity but always remember, a lot is to do with how the dog is raised, trained and socialised. Once that puppy leaves us we have done everything we can for it to try and make it a well rounded, sociable, confident individual, the rest is up to you.
I would like to add at this point that Sandaharr Boerboels would never be the kennel it is today, producing such great dogs, if we hadn't had the help of Craig Bloom with his Ysterberg/Mouzer dogs. We have a lot to be thankful to him for. Thanks Craig, we owe you one!
