At Sandaharr we understand the importance of retaining our lines and to this end we have placed various females and males under agreements with friends and other breeders,the males are on the Stud Dog page and hopefully we shall be able to make use of them in the future if we require them,we shall showcase the females on this page.
We have also in the past worked this way for other breeders in Europe where they placed dogs in our trust (Under no written agreements I might add,verbal only) with us and they were then able to have a puppy/puppies of their choice when bred to a stud dog that we both agree upon. We have found that this agreement works well with the European and Australian breeders and we continue to work together after all these years but I must admit that in the UK unfortunately there is not the same level of loyalty and honesty from some breeders.

SANDAHARR WILHEMINA - (Linjo Roxy x Immer Moed Diego) - My personal female choice from the litter, my husband's choice was Fati that we still have. I knew that these girls were very special and didn't want Mina to go to just anybody so phoned a friend, as you do, and asked if they would like to have her but under a breeders agreement.This enables us to have a puppy back from her at a later date, perhaps from their own stud dog, which ties back into our Sandaharr line. Mina lives happily with her pack of two other girls, Boo and Winnie and her male buddy Hagrid at Bouduccia Boerboels. Mina is successfully appraised and has passed her Boerboel temperament test at the recent Boerboel International appraisal in England. We look forward to seeing her and her gang soon. |

SANDAHARR CHELSEA - (Celtic Connection Razzy x Sandaharr Rannoch) - this was a girl we had sold as a puppy and was returned to us as a beautiful but boisterous teenager. After speaking with friends Bill and Giada of Odyssey Boerboels in Ireland ,they made a mad rush over and took on Chelsea under agreement with us. Chelsea lives the life of Riley on a farm in Southern Ireland with Bill's lovely mother. She really is a very sweet natured, stunning girl. We think she shall produce beautiful puppies in the near future. She is appraised but still to be health tested. |

SANDAHARR ZOE - (Celtic Connection Razzy x Sandaharr Rannoch) - this girl was placed by us with a friend as a young puppy, sadly the owner took unwell at Xmas 2010 and she was returned to us. We were again chatting to friends Bill and Giada and we secured a new forever home for Zoe alongside Chelsea on the farm. It has worked out superbly, Zoe has a great family home with an old Basset Hound and Chelsea the Boerboel and Chelsea has another dog that is a bundle of fun and makes her exercise and lose all the weight she had put on from eating the cattle feed!! Zoe is only a year old and is unappraised and not yet health tested. |

SANDAHARR CHUPACABRA - (Celtic Connection Razzy x Sandaharr Rannoch) - this girl is under a breeders agreement which helped out both us and the new owners. The owners desperately wanted a Razzy pup AND a Roxy pup. We wanted to keep a Razzy pup but had no more room so we offered them their choice of the females under agreement. We know that she is in a wonderful home at Sahara Boerboels with two other lovely Sandaharr females.When the time is right we know that we are able to have a puppy back from this girl if and when she is bred to a stud dog that we both agree upon to keep old Razzy's line going. This has really helped us out and we are grateful that she is so well looked after. |

SANDAHARR INARA - (Sandaharr Bronson x Sandaharr Ayda) - this girl is also under a breeders agreement with another breeder. She has already had a litter but very sadly all but two died so we shall be able to have a puppy back from her next litter which should be this Autumn. We are excited about this as her mother and father were both Top Dogs in 2008 so this hopefully shall continue our Ysterberg lines as she is being bred to a son of Dandaloo Cleo, which all fits in nicely with our dogs. |

SANDAHARR ABBY - (Sandaharr Bronson x Immer Moed Anne) - this girl is also under a breeders agreement with the same breeder that has Inara. As Inara only had two pups survive in the litter it meant that the breeder couldn't afford to keep one of the pups for herself as both were already booked so we kindly offered a choice of females from our own litter to assist them in their future breeding programme. As the parents of our litter had fantastic health results,which is what the new breeder agreed that they needed, they duly came up to Scotland and chose their girl. Abby is well and truly spoiled and loves living on the breeders mother's farm, she is usually to be found curled up on an armchair! We look forward to seeing how she progresses and jointly agreeing a stud dog for her in the future, all being well with all health and temperament results of course. |

SANDAHARR AFIA - (Sandaharr Bronson x Sandaharr Ayda) - to help complete another breeders kennels we gave them this beautiful brindle girl under a breeders agreement. Afia subsequently developed hyperplasia so we asked them to have the bitch spayed by our vet and then to re-home her. We have since found out that the bitch was NOT spayed and was SOLD by the breeder. |

SANDAHARR DELLA - (Celtic Connection Razina x Marvell Loebas) - this girl was rehomed for free under a spay agreement due to a poor hip score. We knew she would and has made a wonderful pet. Sadly the owners/breeders decided first that it was ok to let her have a litter of pups and NOT spay as per the agreement. Della has now been spayed. Luckily the pups tested have come in with good hips.
Is it any wonder we no longer wish to have breeders agreements when people you think you can trust act like this? |
